3. Important – Nature of This Offer
- This offer is for participation with TLFC for the 2027 season only.
- Registration with TLFC does not create an automatic entitlement, right of renewal, or guarantee of team placement or selection for any future season.
- The Club reviews its squad and team structures annually, taking into account player registrations, team viability, coaching availability, volunteer capacity, ground allocations, and governing body competition structures.
4. Team Placement & Squad Balancing
- The team identified in your offer letter represents the Club's current intended placement based on technical assessments and squad planning.
- Team allocations are provisional and are not guaranteed to remain unchanged.
- Where reasonably necessary, TLFC reserves the right to adjust team composition, grading, player placement, or training groups before or during the season. Such adjustments may occur to support player development, balance squad numbers, address league division changes, accommodate coach availability, or meet wider Club operational needs.
- Where meaningful changes to a player's squad allocation are required, the Club will proactively communicate with the affected family.
5. Season 2027 Schedule & Training Arrangements
- Pre-Season Commencement: Week commencing Monday, 15 February 2027 (tentative; exact squad schedules to be confirmed).
- Regular Season Commencement: Sunday, 25 April 2027 (tentative, subject to Football Victoria competition scheduling).
- Weekly Training: Twice per week, Monday to Friday, within the Club's allocated ground and lighting windows.
- Match Day: Sunday (subject to Football Victoria competition fixtures and home/away allocations).
Final training timetables, pitch allocations, team rosters, and competition fixtures will be formally circulated once council ground allocations and FV league structures are finalised.
💡Coaches & Expectations
Our team coaches are dedicated volunteers and accredited personnel who invest substantial time and energy to support our players and community.
A player's initial coach, training night, training time, or pitch allocation cannot be unconditionally guaranteed for the entire season and may be updated if operational circumstances require.
Regular attendance at training sessions and weekend fixtures is expected and is vital for individual player development and team cohesion.
6. Our Football Environment & Club Values
Truganina Lions Football Club exists to provide a respectful, welcoming, and safe environment that our players, volunteers, and families are proud to belong to. We are committed to keeping football accessible and affordable, grounded in our five core club values.
Our objective is to nurture each player’s technical capability, tactical awareness, confidence, and sportsmanship while ensuring their football journey remains enjoyable and fulfilling. All football and squad development decisions are made by authorised Club football officials in line with the Club’s technical curriculum and coaching philosophy.
7. Parent, Guardian & Spectator Conduct
By accepting an offer, parents and guardians agree to uphold the standards of conduct expected across the Truganina Lions community. Players, parents, family members, and guardians must comply with:
- TLFC Codes of Conduct (Player, Parent, and Spectator);
- Football Victoria and Football Australia Spectator Codes and By-Laws;
- Victorian Child Safe Standards and TLFC Club Policies; and
- Reasonable operational directions issued by team coaches, ground marshals, and authorised Club committee officials.
Constructive feedback and respectful communication are always welcome through official club channels. Abusive, intimidating, threatening, derogatory, or disruptive behaviour towards players, junior referees, volunteer coaches, club officials, or opposition teams will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Breaches of conduct may lead to suspension or formal termination of membership under the Club’s disciplinary and grievance processes.
8. Communication & Raising Concerns
To ensure clear, timely, and respectful communication:
- General administrative, team, and football enquiries should be channelled through the nominated Team Manager or Club age coordinator.
- Issues or feedback must be raised respectfully and through proper channels, rather than during active training sessions or on the sidelines on match day.
- TLFC is committed to addressing genuine parent concerns constructively, fairly, and within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Volunteer Community
TLFC is a community sporting club, and it thrives because of the people who give their time each week. From time to time, families may be asked to lend a hand with team and Club activities—match-day duties, events, canteen operations, and other volunteer roles.
There's no better reward than lending a hand on the sidelines while watching your own children learn, grow, and enjoy the game. We encourage every family to contribute where they reasonably can, so this community and the experience continue to thrive!
10. Acceptance Confirmation Summary
By completing the 2027 Player Acceptance & Deposit Form and paying the required deposit, the parent/guardian confirms:
- They have read, understood, and accepted the terms, conditions, and fee structures outlined on this page.
- They agree to abide by the Club's Constitution, Codes of Conduct, and Child Safe Policies throughout the 2027 season.
One Club. One Community. One Pride. 🦁
